Hello
My name is Tanya Edwards. I am a licensed clinical social worker with over seven years of experience supporting children and families. I have three years of experience providing mental health treatment to individuals across various age groups. My work has included supporting clients through anxiety, trauma, life transitions, chronic stress, relationship concerns, parenting challenges, school avoidance, and family issues.

My current clinical focus is helping adolescents, teens, and young adults (from middle school through college) who are struggling with anxiety, school avoidance, low self-esteem, or feeling overwhelmed. I also provide guidance for parents navigating these challenges with their teen or young adult.

I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens and hold specialized training and certification in trauma-informed care. I believe therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and safe, helping clients regain confidence, manage anxiety, engage in school or daily life more fully, and strengthen family relationships along the way.
